Your responsibilities
You will be working in an exciting, international environment and contributing personally to the company’s success. Challenging tasks and projects await you, such as
- Managing the overall competiveness of the electronic BOMs as purchasing specialist
- Secure best cost structure, drive strategic supplier selection and design-in of preferred components during development phase
- Decrease complexity by reducing the number of product variants and bundle volumes at our strategic supply base
- Implement and improve dual source strategy and risk management process during component selection
- Increase the collaboration and partnerships with R&D and innovation team to improve the design-in process (frontloading)
Your profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration and engineering or business administration with strong technical background
- Experience and understanding of electronic industry, knowledge and working experience of electronic component market (> 3 years)
- Profound knowledge of the German language and fluent english-skills necessary
- Presence in the office 3 days a week required
